CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello everyone! Today I am going to tell you about some changes I would make to my study plan.

For my career, Chemistry and Pharmacy, I would change the time in which the intermediate practice is done, this consists of working for two weeks in a pharmacy. It is planned to be done in the second year of college, however, I would move it up to be done in the first year. This way you have a quicker notion of whether you would like to pursue the career.

As for the general curriculum in the faculty, I would like to modify the mathematical approach a little bit, and I would like it to have a more biological approach. In this way I would remove mechanics and introduction to calculus. I would also like to have academic tutoring throughout my college career, since most of it is a great help. And I would add summer semester, as this way people who failed can have the option to keep up to date for the next year.

As for the workload I find that it is extremely high, you really always have to study, and there is almost no time for extracurricular activities, in my case Handball, many times I can not attend training because I have to study, so it is something that I would modify and decrease it. The length of studies for me is something that is fine, at least in my career, so I would not modify it.

The facilities are extremely small, the classrooms are not enough to hold a class of approximately 150 people, so I would like to increase the space in each room. Also something I would modify would be the cafeteria and dining room, both are also extremely small to have so many people, in fact I have seen how some people have to eat lunch on the grass because there are no tables available, so it is definitely something I would modify to enlarge the space of these two parts.

Regarding the use of technology, I would not know what to modify, since I feel that the teachers have the essentials to teach, such as a projector.

And finally about the teaching methods I would like some teachers to change it, I am talking about those teachers who only read the class and do not explain, this finally only makes that the students can not understand anything and only increase the doubts.

Thanks for reading, I hope you liked it!
