Tell us about an expert/person in your field that you admire

 Hello! Today I am going to tell you about the first female pharmaceutical chemist in Chile, Griselda Hinojosa. 

She then entered to study Chemistry and Pharmacy at the Universidad de Chile, where her university career was not without setbacks, since in the final stage of her training she failed. However, she managed to graduate on December 4, 1899.

After leaving the university, she formed a partnership with Percival Rojas to lead the "botica y droguería copiapo". Then, together with her husband, she founded the farmacy “Manuel Antonio Matta”. 

Researching about her I realized that I feel a great admiration for her, because she was part of the first group of women to obtain a university degree in Chile. And although she failed in her final year of college, she didn't give up and did it all over again until she graduated. 

The greatest contribution she has made for me is that of having forged the foundations for women in this school stage. Thanks to her, today there are thousands of women who are now studying at university.
